Halle Berry was reportedly paid a $500 000 bonus to go topless in Swordfish. If you ask money for appearing nude on film or in photographs, you are basically doing porn. I’m not saying all actors and actresses who appear nude are porn stars, but if you specifically ask for more money *because* of a nude scene or a sex scene, then you’re asking for compensation specifically for nudity and simulated sex. That’s exactly what softcore porn stars do.

You could argue that unless the movie itself is porn, you can’t call them porn stars. But if they’re doing it for the art, why charge more for nudity? They are using their nude body to make extra money. That’s porn. You can argue all kinds of technicalities on how it’s different, but in principle, it’s exactly the same. You are charging people money to film you naked.
