There was a thread yesterday that I posted on about a guy who was having an identity crisis. His sister tried to give him advice on masculinity, to which he said to her not to tell him how to be a man.

The thread was full of comments overly synpathasizing with the OP sister and shaming the OP for daring to say that to his sister.

Yet if the genders were reversed, its 100% guaranteed that the subreddit would be in outrage. The sub is full of women who get angry at men for telling them how to be feminine, yet they have no problem in telling men how to be men and trying to “womansplain” them on them masculinity.
