I’m a senior and basically a straight A student and I hardly try to get good grades. Sure I may be at slightly above average intelligence but my grades aren’t because of that.

In the few months since school started I’ve learned what my teachers want in essays in tests and played exactly to their specifications.

I would argue that having that skill is better than being smart because ‘playing the game’ will help you later in life when you get a job.
