Inclusiveness is becoming toxic. Brands like Brandy Melville with their “one size fits small” sizing option allows people on the slimmer end to have clothes that flatter and fit their body type. They should be allowed to cater to that market alone without any flack, just like Torrid only markets to plus sized women. Same with Victoria Secret. They keep expanding their sizing options, but are getting shit on for not being inclusive enough. Society really needs to shop shaming companies for catering to one body type. Not everything is equal, and skinny people deserve options specifically designed for their body too!

I notice that you were only able to mention Brandy Melville…mention another place. No, seriously, please do. I need to find a place to buy clothes that fit lmao ):
Then can we get brands for shorter ppl everyone here is TALL and the pants are almost as tall as me please I just want jeans I don’t have to roll up
I’m 135, thigh gap, small framed, 5’8….. and have no problem shopping for my size and I’m a 2-4 or S to M. How are people having this much trouble finding clothing?? It’s not that hard as a tall skinny woman tbh
I think its more of a “brands cant have niche targets anymore because equality” Like make-up brands having only light skinned foundations.
But i feel like if there are enough clothing brands that are just as affordable for plus size people. so its a 50/50 playing field it wont be as big of a problem.
Also being skinny doesn’t always become a problem for clothe shopping. If you really cant find ur size wearing something bigger should be fine (or even more comfortable) but being too big to fit anything in the store and not being able to find an alternative (wearing smaller size is uncomfortable) is a problem.
I don’t think companies do this just because they want to be nice. They are thinking profit, doing it for profits. Generally speaking if they see a community that they can try to sale to will do it. Victoria secrets for example bought this company that made lingerie for larger size women they bought the company to get rid of the competition
