“Money doesn’t buy happiness” is a quote a lot of people use to justify low income. However I sure will be happier driving a boat and living in a mansion. I understand where the mentality comes from, but im sure a little bit if wealth would increase everybody’s happiness

As someone who has been a broke single mom, had moderate wealth (with my ex), and am now solid middle class…money does not buy happiness. It just buys you a different set of problems.
No money to pay off medical bills nor insurance, loved one dies = sadness. Money to pay off the medical bills and able to afford a decent insurance, loved one lives = happiness.
