If a cashier/employee asks a person for proof of age, the customer shouldn’t disagree with them. Even less, get angry. It’s just a policy that employees have to follow. People should know that the employees are just doing their jobs, even if it might be an unnecessary step. Getting angry about showing proof of age, might cause suspicion. For example, lying about their actual age. Just because they look old, it doesn’t always mean they are in the clear. Looking old does not make them entitled to refuse or get angry about showing proof of age.
