Both women and men are getting unbelievably objectified on looks, status, and follower/like counts, nearly everyone is superficially virtue signaling to paint any image they want for other people, and day to day life is starting to look real bleak for those less fortunate when everyone else is showing nothing but their best side, best moments, and best pictures.

What’s worse is that this practice is so commonplace, that if you dont participate, you look really strange. I cant blame that mindset – who wouldn’t want to use this powerful tool to establish any sort of image of yourself you want?

But jesus christ, these false expectations and facades of other people’s lives that we bear witness to constantly is going to tear up people going through hardships when all they have to compare to is pure bliss.

TL:DR Social media is establishing ridiculous expectations of life; this is extremely unhealthy.
