Guys, we need to wrap our heads around what unpopular means. Many people are confusing it with “opinions that are in the minority”. That isn’t the case.

Couple examples:

Are you for abortion? Then you have a popular opinion. Millions of people support your opinion. Organizations and political parties support your opinion. Politicians speak about all the points you’re gonna bring up all the time. Millions of dollars are spent every year to support your opinion. And it’s very unlikely that any comments you have on the situation are ones you developed yourself.

For my current events:

Are you supporting the lockdown? Your opinion is not unpopular. Millions of people support it. And it’s very unlikely that any comments you have on the situation are ones you developed yourself.

Do you support reopening the economy? Your opinion is not unpopular. Millions of people support it. Political pundits are talking about it nonstop. And it’s very unlikely that any comments you have on the situation are ones you developed yourself.

Best bet guys, your opinion should be SOMETHING YOU DEVELOPED YOURSELF, and not things you heard from other men you agree with who you want to parrot as your own opinion.
