Now, let me say that i don’t mind tipping for excellent service in a restaurant and when someone does a good job serving and goes above and beyond. The problem I do have is how everyone and their brother now expects a tip. Yesterday, I was at a small local business buying a shirt and when I paid with my card, it asks me what I want to leave for a tip. Wtf? You rang up my shirt!! Same with another bookstore in the next town over, asking me for a tip when I check out. No help from anyone, I found my own book, I just needed them to ring me out. You don’t deserve a tip for just doing your job! People have other jobs where they help
People and don’t have their hands out for a tip.

That’s why over here in the U.K. we don’t tip 👌🏻
Yes, I sometimes feel like I’m obligated to tip, although people never ever asked me to do it like you. And I worked as a waitress in a club, sometimes it was exhausting, but I couldn’t care less about tips and especially asking for it.
I don’t tip because it keeps wages depressed, plus it’s fucking hypocritical to tip sitdown restaurants but not fast food workers and shit, like the fuck?
